Data Deletion Instructions
This page explains how you can delete your personal data from camillo.ai. These instructions are consistent with our Privacy Policy and Safety Policy. camillo.ai Limited respects your privacy rights and provides tools for users to delete their content and account data in accordance with applicable data protection laws.
1. What data you can delete
You can request deletion of the following:
- uploaded videos and activities (runs);
- performance analysis and benchmarking data that is directly displayed as part of your own runs and account, including your leaderboard entries;
- comments and interactions you have made;
- profile information (such as gender, equipment specification, and activity type);
- your entire account and associated personal data.
2. How to delete individual runs or activities
Videos are managed and deleted at the run or activity level. To delete a video, you must delete the run or activity it belongs to:
- Sign in to your camillo.ai account.
- Navigate to the run or activity you want to remove.
- Select the Delete option for that run or activity.
- Confirm the deletion.
Once deleted, the run, associated video, and performance analysis displayed for that run are removed from active systems and will no longer be visible on your account or profile.
3. How to delete your entire account
Option A — In-app (if available)
- Sign in to your account.
- Go to Account Settings.
- Select Delete Account and follow the instructions.
Option B — Email request
If in-app deletion is not available, email support@camillo.ai with the subject line Account Deletion Request. Please include the email address associated with your account. We may request verification before completing deletion.
4. Impact on other users’ content
When you delete a run, video, or your account, your content and the analysis displayed for your runs are removed from the Service and will no longer be available or used to create new comparisons.
Videos, activities, or analyses created by other users that were previously compared or aligned with your content may remain available, as they are the content and personal data of those users. Once your content is deleted, it will no longer be possible for you or others to create new comparisons or alignments involving your deleted content.
5. What happens after deletion
After deletion:
- your account is deactivated and removed;
- your videos, run pages, and leaderboard entries are removed from public view;
- comments and interactions you created are removed or anonymised where appropriate;
- residual copies may remain temporarily in system backups.
Public caching notice: Content that was publicly visible may persist temporarily in search engine indexes or cached pages until refreshed or removed by those third parties.
6. Timeframe
We aim to complete deletion requests without undue delay, typically within 30 days, unless a longer period is required by law.
7. Data we may retain
We may retain limited information where necessary to comply with legal or regulatory obligations, resolve disputes, enforce our terms, or ensure security and prevent abuse. Any retained data is restricted and used only for those purposes.
8. Regional rights
UK & EU: Under UK GDPR and EU GDPR, you have the right to request erasure of your personal data, subject to legal limitations.
United States (including California): California residents may request deletion of personal information under the CCPA/CPRA, subject to statutory exceptions.
