Terms of Service Privacy Policy Data Deletion

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of camillo.ai, including any related websites, applications, software, APIs, and services (collectively, the "Services").

By accessing or using the Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Services.

1. Who we are

"camillo.ai", "we", "us", or "our" refers to the operator of the Services.

2. Eligibility and accounts

  1. You must be at least 13 years old, or the minimum age required in your jurisdiction, to use the Services.
  2. If you are under the age required to form a binding contract where you live, you may only use the Services with the consent and supervision of a parent or legal guardian.
  3. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account.

3. Nature of the Services

camillo.ai provides tools for uploading, analysing, aligning, and viewing cycling-related media and data, including:

  • mountain bike and other cycling videos,
  • GPS- and time-based activity data,
  • aligned or synchronised video outputs,
  • overlays, comparisons, segments, leaderboards, and visual analytics.

The Services are informational and analytical only and are not intended to replace judgment, coaching, navigation, or safety planning.

4. Public-by-default content

  1. Public by default. Content you upload or generate using the Services (including videos, derived aligned videos, routes, segments, leaderboards, and analytics) is public by default and may be visible to other users and visitors.
  2. You are responsible for understanding and managing any privacy controls we provide.
  3. Once content is public, others may view it, link to it, or reference it. We cannot guarantee control over downstream use once content is made public.

5. Viewing vs downloading

  1. The Services are designed so that other users may view public content but not download it, unless we explicitly provide a download feature.
  2. You agree not to attempt to download, scrape, capture, or redistribute others' content by technical means outside the intended functionality of the Services.

6. Your content and rights

  1. You retain ownership of the content you upload or submit ("User Content").
  2. You represent and warrant that:
  • you own or have the necessary rights to upload and share your User Content;
  • your User Content does not infringe intellectual property, privacy, data protection, or other rights of any person;
  • any individuals identifiable in your content have consented where required by law.

You grant camillo.ai a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to:

  • host, store, back up, process, transcode, align, analyse, modify, and display your User Content;
  • create and display derived outputs (e.g. aligned videos, overlays, analytics);
  • make your public User Content available to other users for viewing via the Services.

This licence exists solely to operate, improve, and promote the Services.

7. Commercial use

  1. Commercial use is permitted. You may use the Services and outputs for commercial purposes (including content creation, coaching, or media), provided you comply with these Terms and applicable law.
  2. camillo.ai does not endorse or verify any commercial users, coaches, or claims made using the Services.

8. Safety, leaderboards, and responsible use

  1. Cycling and mountain biking involve inherent risk.
  2. Leaderboards, segments, timing comparisons, or rankings are provided for analysis and interest only and are not encouragement to ride beyond your abilities, break laws, or take unsafe risks.
  3. You are solely responsible for how, where, and whether you ride, and for compliance with all laws, trail rules, and land access restrictions.
  4. camillo.ai does not organise, supervise, or sanction rides, races, or challenges. camillo.ai does not assess or verify the safety or suitability of any segment or route. Segments may be unsafe or unsuitable depending on rider ability, equipment, weather, trail conditions, or legality. You are solely responsible for assessing risk.

9. Geolocation and privacy risks

  1. GPS and location-based data may reveal sensitive information such as home locations, routines, or frequently used trails.
  2. You accept all risks associated with uploading and sharing location-linked content.
  3. You should review and manage any privacy controls provided before uploading or sharing content.

10. AI and automated processing

  1. The Services may use automated systems, including machine learning, to align videos, infer timing, match segments, or generate analytics.
  2. These systems may produce errors, omissions, or misleading results.
  3. You agree to use all outputs with appropriate judgment and at your own risk.

11. Subscriptions and paid features

  1. Some features of the Services may require payment.
  2. Pricing, billing cycles, and renewal terms will be disclosed at the point of purchase.
  3. Unless required by law, fees are non-refundable.
  4. We may change prices or features with reasonable notice.

12. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • upload illegal, infringing, or harmful content;
  • harass, threaten, or endanger others;
  • misuse leaderboards or segments to encourage dangerous behaviour;
  • attempt to reverse engineer, scrape, or interfere with the Services;
  • access the Services through automated means not explicitly permitted.

We may remove content or suspend accounts that violate these Terms.

13. Intellectual property in the Services

All software, design, branding, and platform elements of the Services (excluding User Content) are owned by or licensed to camillo.ai. You receive a limited, revocable licence to use the Services in accordance with these Terms.

14. Copyright complaints

If you believe content on camillo.ai infringes your copyright, contact ip@camillo.ai with:

  • your contact details,
  • identification of the work claimed to be infringed,
  • identification of the allegedly infringing content,
  • a good-faith statement and signature.

15. Disclaimers

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

  • The Services are provided "as is" and "as available".
  • We make no warranties about accuracy, reliability, or availability.
  • The Services do not provide medical, coaching, safety, or professional advice.
  • You participate in any athletic activity entirely at your own risk.

16. Limitation of liability

Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot legally be limited.

Subject to that, camillo.ai will not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or loss of data, profit, or opportunity.

Our total liability to you will not exceed the greater of:

  • GBP 50, or
  • the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

17. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold camillo.ai harmless from claims arising out of:

  • your User Content,
  • your use of the Services,
  • your violation of these Terms or the law.

18. Termination

We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms, pose risk to others, or where required for legal or security reasons. You may stop using the Services at any time.

19. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Courts of England and Wales shall have jurisdiction, except where consumer law requires otherwise.

20. Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Services after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
